The last time I went through Satarsha on a "round about" way back from Vicksburg, it was snowing and the General Store had about a dozen cars in front. Folks around here stock up at the first flake. The delta is dismal in the winter. Late summer, when the cotton blooms, it has a strange sort of charm to it. bob
